Consultation

The skin consultation

Twenty minutes for Yuridia to get to know your skin and for you to get to know the studio.

You sit together over a cup of tea, under a magnifying lamp. Yuridia asks how you care for your skin and what you would like to change, then explains what she suggests and in what order.

  • Twenty minutes, in Spanish or English

  • No pressure to book a facial

  • You are welcome to bring a companion

  • You choose what to share

For your peace of mind

When we suggest seeing a dermatologist

A facial is not a medical treatment. If any of this happens, start with your doctor or a dermatologist.

  • A mole that changes

It changes shape, color or size, or it bleeds.

  • A sore that doesn't heal

It has stayed open for weeks or keeps opening in the same place.

  • Red, warm or painful skin

Especially if it appeared suddenly or is spreading.

  • A rash that won't go away

If it lasts more than a few days, or you have a fever, see your doctor.

Patch test

A small test before the tint

Before your first brow tint, and before some new products, Yuridia does a small test on your forearm. It is done at least 24 hours before your appointment.

  • It is a short visit, with no facial

  • If your skin gets irritated, the service isn't done and Yuridia suggests another option
